Bone Graft Complications

Bone graft complications may be caused by: grafting infected areas, making incisions over the graft site, failure to close the flap passively, flap breakdown, incorrect flap design, exposure of the graft, incision line opening, failure to overbuild graft, failure to make sure that the site is free from postoperative trauma, and not providing allowances for graft shrinkage.
